Realisation of the activities for

the second year of the project

 

DNA was cut by EcoRI and MseI restriction enzymes

into the fragments of different length. Adapters were

ligated to the restriction ends of the DNA fragments.

 

Pre-amplification with one selective nucleotide and selective amplification with three additional selective

nucleotides was done. AFLP products separated and visualized in four-capillary electrophoresis system (3130 Genetic Analyzer) were read with GeneMapper v.4.0 and scanAFLP software package. Molecular analyses data are ready for further statistical analyses.

 

The weights of green mass for every individual plant were measured in the trial field. The average samples from each population and from each repetition were taken, dried at 60 degrees C. and milled to the particle dimension of 1.5 mm. The data of the green mass were entered into forms and are ready for statistical analyses.
